Mr Classen (Classen-room – get it? Haha.) teaches German and English at a secondary school in Frankfurt, Germany, and also runs the occasional class in German Studies at the University of Mainz.

His main professional interests lie in children’s literature and young adult fiction, cultural education, and media in the classroom.

Apart from his day-time job, he reads books to pre-school and primary school kids in libraries and family centres, and even quite a few of his favourite TV shows – South Park, Derry Girls, The Inbetweeners – are set in schools. Talk about a full-time obsession.
